Welcome to the Laboratory for Functional Optical Imaging and Spectroscopy!

The Rajaram lab uses optical imaging to investigate the tumor microenvironment, specifically hypoxia and metabolism, to identify the hallmarks of treatment resistance and response. We also translate these discoveries into clinically compatible optical technologies that can be used to guide personalized treatment regimens.
